Gambia records 2 fresh cases of covid-19

Momodou Njai, the director of Health Promotion and Education has confirmed to this medium that two Gambian males have been tested positive of covid-19.

The two patients were all quarantined on 5 June and 6 June 2020 respectively. The first patient was a 20-year-old who arrived from Guinea Bissau and the second was a 38-year-old who came from Senegal.

These two infections bring the country’s total number of covid-19 cases to 28, with one death.
