In a message signed by the president of that solidarity organization, Joseph Modou Peh Grant, the triumph of the largest of the Antilles in the UN is highlighted, when it was approved last Thursday for the thirtieth time and an overwhelming majority (185 votes in favor, 2 against and 2 abstentions), another draft resolution that demands and reiterates to Washington to put an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade.
The text underlines that it is time for the US to stop this shameful and cruel action towards the people of the island, and describes the embargo as a crime against humanity.
