As of 1st May 2020, D160 million has been released to the Ministry of Health, which is the spending authority on all COVID-19 related matters. The Ministry of Finance will continue to publish all future allocations and expenditures periodically.
Just as we have acted fast to mobilize adequate resources to ensure Gambians are protected from the deadly virus, the ministry, and the Gambia government by extension, reassures the public that it will continue to act in the best interest of the people at all times.
