Ebrima O. Jallow has been re-elected President of the National Livestock Owners Association (NALOA) of The Gambia to serve another term.

Mr. Jallow was unanimously re-elected at the end of the Association’s Annual General Meeting held in Jenoi, Lower River Region (LRR). Members cited his significant contributions to NALOA’s growth and stability as the basis for their decision.

During his tenure, Mr. Jallow led NALOA to several milestones that elevated its standing in the livestock sector. Under his leadership, the Association, which has approximately 60,000 members, has been marked by steady and effective management.

A key highlight of his term was the implementation of projects aimed at strengthening the livestock value chain. These initiatives have been widely praised for their effectiveness and positive impact on livestock owners.

In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Jallow thanked members for the trust placed in him.

“I am grateful to the NALOA membership for re-electing me to lead the Association. I promise to live up to expectations and deliver to the best of my ability,” he said.

He commended the Government of The Gambia, particularly the Ministry of Agriculture, for its cordial working relationship with NALOA. He also acknowledged the Ministry of Interior for its continued support to the Association.
