Electric shock reportedly kills 7 in NBR

Seven people believed to be sub-contractors who are currently working on the rural electrification project in the North Bank Region (NBR) have reportedly died amid electrocution in the course of their work The Point has been reliably informed.

Most of the victims are foreigners, our source said.

Meanwhile, the deputy spokesperson of the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC), Buba Badjie, has also confirmed the matter, saying a team from NAWEC was heading to the scene at the time of going to the press.
