Deportee allegedly kills father

A Gambian deportee from Germany has allegedly killed his father by hitting him with a broken chair in his head, The Point has learnt.

Malang Kongira, a resident of Brikama Daru Khairu was reported to have been smashing doors and windows in the compound before being calmed by his father, Ansumana Kongira.

The deceased, (his father) was rushed to Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital for postmortem, with Malang being arrested and detained in an unknown location.

His elder brother was also reported arrested after he also attempted to kill Malang in revenge of their father. He is also likely to be charged with attempted murder.
