On Wednesday, while receiving the credentials of Sheikh Tijan Hydara, the new ambassador of this west African nation in the largest of the Antilles, Díaz-Canel also reciprocated a greeting received from Barrow through the diplomat.
The Cuban president expressed that his country and The Gambia work together and would continue to advance in this regard to deepen collaborative relations in different areas, especially in medical training and agriculture.
Both nations currently maintain very positive and historic ties of brotherhood and solidarity.
