High Court in Banjul has declared in a landmark ruling that disqualification of the leader of Citizen Alliance (CA) party by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to contest in the December 4th presidential election is illegal.

The Court thus ordered that CA be compensated with D200,000 by the IEC.
