H.E. Ambassador Jobarteh in conveying greetings from His Excellency President Adama Barrow of The Gambia, expressed appreciation for the continued support, cordial relationship and the trust that exist between the two countries, which has always been the main focus of their bilateral relations. Both agree on the need for improved security in the region which is key to development.
H.E. President Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier congratulated Ambassador Jobarteh on his appointment and conveyed his warm regards to President Barrow and recalled the warm welcome he received in The Gambia during his state visit in December 2017. The German President emphasised his country’s resolve to continue to invest in The Gambia’s democratisation and in supporting the country’s security forces.
Ambassador Jobarteh was accompanied to the Palace by the Finance Attaché of the embassy in Brussels.
