3 nabbed with suspected drugs

Bakary Bojang, Sulayman Barrow and Baye Nyass have been arrested in diverse places with suspected controlled and prohibited drugs

The 26-year-old Bakary Bojang was arrested at a Vehicle Check Point (VCP) between Gunjur and Kartong on 25 February 2022.

He was arrested with 60 tablets of clonazepam tablets hidden under the passenger’s seat of an ash-coloured Opel Vehicle with registration number WCR 7405 A.

27-year-old Sulayman Barrow was also arrested at Gunjur Barrow Kunda on the 24 February 2022 with 57 stones of suspected cannabis resin (hashish)

Baye Nyass was grabbed at Balangarr village on the 27 February 2022 with 11 wraps of suspected cannabis sativa.

The suspects were in custody while investigations continue.
