Woman docked for alleged theft

A woman was recently arraigned before Magistrate Babucarr Secka of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court charged with stealing.

Fatou Jobe denied the charge and was granted court bail of D5, 000 with one Gambian surety.

The particulars of offence indicated that on 27 July 2011, at the Brikama Health Centre, the accused, Fatou Jobe, stole two plastic chairs (value unknown) being the property of the said health centre.

Hearing was extended to 16 August 2011.
