Volleyball League second round set to kick off tomorrow

The second round of the national volleyball league of the Gambia Volleyball Association (GVBA) is set to get underway tomorrow, Friday 24 January, at Bakau and the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) volleyball lawns respectively.

The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) will take on Fire Service in the male category at the Bakau volleyball lawn while Interior will face the Gambia Armed Forces in the female category at the Gambia Technical Training Institute volleyball lawn.

The league, which is self-sponsored, is topped by Jeshwang with 9 points in the male category while Interior are leading the female category with 6 points.

Meanwhile, the date for the commencement of the knockout trophy and consolation prizes for the league champions is to be disclosed later.
