Regional third division league following their 2-0 defeat to Sanchaba Sulay
Jobe Football Academy at the Dahaba Football Field on Saturday.
Universal
Football Academy lost to Sanyang United 2-0 in their opening league fixtures
before their Saturday’s clash with Sanchaba Sulay Jobe Academy.
The
Lamin-based outfit came into the game with the motive of clinching the vital
three points to move away from the danger zone but lost to Sanchaba-based
Football Academy 2-0 to remain bottom in group A with zero point in two league
matches.
The
defeat was Universal Football Academy’s second straight loss in the West Coast
Regional third division league after losing to Sanyang United 2-0 prior to
their 2-0 defeat to Sanchaba Sulay Jobe Football Academy at the weekend.
The
victory was Sanchaba Sulay Jobe Football Academy’s first-ever win in the
2016-2017 West Coast Regional third division league following their 1-1 draw
with Tanji United in the opening league fixtures.
Tanji
United drew goalless with debutants Tujereng United in the all-Kombo South
derby fixtures.
Jabang
FC beat Sifoe United 1-0 at the Dembadou Mini Stadium in Sukuta to snatch their
first win in the West Coast Regional third tier after their 1-1 draw with
Gunjur United in their opening league fixtures.
Elsewhere,
Busumbala Sanjonding drew 1-1 with Misira United at the Busumbala Football
Field to maintain their unbeaten run in the West Coast Regional third tier
after winning their two opening league fixtures.
