Momodou Lamin Kujabi, the Sports Master of Gambia Muslim Senior Secondary School, who is also part of the Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association, has expressed dissatisfaction over the way this year's Secondary School Sports Athletic competition was organised.

Mr. Kujabi, in an interview with Pointsport at the Independence Stadium where the annual championship was held, informed that this year's competition was totally unfair noting that the organizers themselves did not abide by the rules and regulations governing the Championship.

Mr. Kujabi explained the reason of organising athletic championships is to be able to scout the best athletes to represent the country internationally. He noted that it would be difficult to realize these objectives unless the association changes its rules and regulations.

Mr. Kujabi however, revealed that we could only achieve excellence in sports if the rules and regulations are properly observed. He added that the majority of association members are ex students of St Augustine's and GambiaSeniorSecondary Schools respectively. Therefore, making it difficult for other participating schools to have a sense of equity in the competition.
