Serigne Abdou Karim Mbackeh ‘to visit Gambia in April

Serigne Abdou Karim Mbackeh, grandson of Serigne Touba and son of Serigne Fallou Mbackeh will visit The Gambia in April.

The purpose of his three days visit is to strengthen the ties between Mourids in The Gambia and to promote good moral values and etiquettes amongst people irrespective of nationality, tribe or religion and prayers for the peace and stability for the Gambia.

Under the leadership of Pape Demba Jobe, the coming of the Serigne is facilitated in collaboration with lmam Mouthala Jobe of Kerr Serigne Touba Mosque Bakau, and all Muslims in collaboration with Khitmatoul karim Touba foundation in the Gambia.

On the second day of his visit, a national event will take place at the independent stadium in Bakau where Serigne Abdou Karim Mbackeh will meet the Muslim population and non-Muslim denominations to offer his prayers to the entire Gambians.

People of all levels, including imams, Government officials, private sector Pressure groups and individuals who wish to offer (Adiyaa) and seek for prayers are urging to meet at his resident at coastal road opposite SBEC junction for prayers.
