Registration
for the annual Late Pa Jobe Jassey Memorial junior football tournament is open
to all junior teams in Gunjur and its environs, according to the organiser Yaya
Sowe.
The annual championship is set to commence in few days’ time and deadline for registration is Friday 27 November 2015.
The championship is organised in memory of the late Pa Jobe Jassey, a former Reliance FC and Wallidan player, who passed away in 2003.
The late Pa Jobe Jassey played for Reliance FC in Gunjur Nawettan and Gunjur zonal team in the Super Nawettan before his departure to eternity in 2003.
According to the organizer, Yaya Sowe, late registration would not be accepted, saying the tournament is meant to nurture, groom, promote and develop young players in Gunjur.
