As part of their corporate social responsibilities, Pristine Consulting last Thursday presented four sets of football jerseys worth D60, 000 to the Gambia Police Force.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Yankuba Sonko, the Inspector General of Police described Pristine Consulting as a true friend of the Gambia Police Force.
According to him, Pristine Consulting is partnering with the police in the interest of national development. He said the police cannot do it all alone, thus the need to partner with others. IGP Sonko also used the occasion to call on other institutions to emulate Pristine Consulting.
Deputising for the Chief Executive Officer, Hassan Touray, Chief Technology Officer at Pristine Consulting said the four sets of jerseys were for the Interior female team who has been four times champions.
"This was one of the reasons why my office feels that there is need to motivate the Interior female team," he said, adding that this was just the beginning of the whole initiative. He noted that the presentation was a clear testimony that the Pristine Consulting has longstanding relationship with the Gambia Police Force.
For his part, the Minister of Interior, Ousman Sonko said that the Interior female team has been winning trophies over the years, and as a result, Pristine Consulting came to their aid.
He stated that the relationship between Pristine and the Gambia Police Force is more than a mere relationship. Pristine, he noted, became true partners of the Gambia Police Force by making our documents very secure and reliable.
