The Scorpions will be expecting for a revenge following their hard-fought 2-1 defeat to the Taifa Stars in their second group F game in Daru Salaam in June 2012, before losing to group leaders Ivory Coast in Abidjan and Banjul respectively.
The Scorpions and Taifa Stars are currently occupying second from bottom and bottom place respectively in group F and the Scorpions have managed to grab only a point in five games. The Taifa Stars are with 6 points in five outings after their resounding 3-1 win over Atlas Lions of Morocco and a slender 2-1 victory over the Scorpions.
The Scorpions and Taifa Stars will not take the game for granted and they will fight tooth and nail to snatch a win in order to improve their position in Africa and Global ranking.
Meanwhile, group leaders Ivory Coast will host Morocco in the other group F fixtures in Abidjan on the same day.
Ivory Coast are already through to the final phase of the African 2014 World Cup qualifiers after bagging 13 points in five games five points ahead of second place Morocco with 8 points in five games and will be playing for pride.
Ivory Coast are leading group F with 13 points in five games, Morocco are 2nd position with 8 points in five games, Tanzania are 2nd position from bottom with 6 points in five outings, while The Gambia are rooted at the bottom of group F with 1 points in five games.
