THE fixture on every discerning fashionistas’ December calendar, Fashion Weekend Gambia, returns on 4th & 5th December for its fourth edition.
Yet again, guests have the opportunity to discover a new batch of Gambian talent, and to take an active part in this unique concept.
The event is one of very few Fashion Weeks where the audience can actually engage with showcased designers, ordering bespoke collections directly from the Creator.
This two-day event is not to be missed by anyone in the SeneGambian region who shares a passion for Fashion, Culture or Music.
Favourites Ziza and Yaws, amongst other FWG regulars will be returning, setting the pace for newcomers receiving their first dose of the Fashion Weekend Gambia treatment.
The organisers boost the profiles of local arts, Designers and Models in a bid to boost the small country’s Fair Trade profile and Fashion Tourism Industry.

Following the phenomenal success of last year’s featured Designer, Ndey fatou Ceesay of Noir, who went on to wow the British crowd, as one of the 5 ones to watch at Africa Fashion Week London 2015, FWG has selected two Designers for this year‘s show.
Lilly Ceesay of Lilleo, thrilled the FWG team and audience with a dance fashion fusion spectacular that had the audience up in the aisles last December. This year this year’s offerings so far are addictively wearable and a delightful precursor to the Winter Show
Medoune Gaye of Starfit, who after some solid European experience this year is set to grace the Headline stage with his signature rebellious flair.
