Cricket Prexy to conduct umpiring course in Cameroon

The President of the Gambia Cricket Association (GCA), Johnny Gomez has left the shores of the country to preside over a three-day International Cricket Council Umpiring Level One course in Cameroon.

The training, according to Johnny, is meant to upgrade participants on 'Umpiring' in line with the International Cricket Council target of training more Umpires in every country, to assist in local leagues and regional competitions.

Similar trainings were recently conducted by the Gambia Cricket Association boss in countries such as Mali, Sierra Leone and The Gambia.
