Aug 2, 2012, 11:10 AM

The Brikama Box Bar Stadium will host the second-leg tie of the Africa U-20 Youth Championship qualifiers billed for Saturday 11th August, 2012 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

The match which is expected to kick-off at 15:30pm, according to the GFA, will be a tough battle between the Gambia’s U-20, who succumbed 4-0 last Friday 27th July 2012, to the Young Atlas of Morocco in the first-leg in Casablanca, Morocco.

The 18th African U-20 Championship set for Algeria in 2013 has now turned to be a huge mountain to climb for The Gambia. The cadets of The Gambia are expected to turn the 4-0 deficit scoreline in Banjul.

It would be recalled that The Gambia made great progress at the continental junior championships, and on the world stage in U-the 20 category.

The junior scorpions were bronze medalists in the African Youth Championship held in Congo in 2007, and finished as quarter finalists in the succeeding FIFA U-20 World Cup final tournament held in Canada.

Ticket prizes for the Saturday’s match are pegged at VIP D100 Covered D50 and D25 for the other stands.
