Berending came from behind to share the spoils with Tanji
in the ongoing Kombo South District football tournament in a tightly contested
encounter in group C on Sunday at the Jambanjelly football field.
The game, which attracted spectators from Kombo South and its environs, showed brilliant display of skills from both sides.
Tanji opened the score line in the 7th minute of the game through striker Modou Bah from the penalty spot to give his side the lead.
Berending levelled the score through Buba Tamba in the 86th minute of the game.
Tanji are still leading group C with 4 points in two games while Berending are 2nd position with 2 points in two encounters.
Batokunku are 3rd position with a single point in one encounter while Nyofaleh are rooted at the bottom of group C without a point in a single game with two more games to go.
