Principal Magistrate Emmanuel Nkea of the Banjul Magistrates' Court recently issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Momodou Lamin Dibba, a UK-based Gambian, together with his two sureties.
He gave the orders following an application made by the prosecution for the accused to be remanded in prison, culminating from his failure to appear in court at the last adjourned date.
Mr. Dibba is charged with stealing, which he completely denied.
