One Ismaila
Jallow was Monday granted court bail of D50,000 with a Gambian surety by
Magistrate Isatou Janneh of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
Ismaila Jallow was arraigned before the said court and charged with obtaining money by false pretence, which he denied.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused, Ismaila Jallow, some time in September 2013, at Brikama Town, in Kombo Central, West Coast Region, with intent to defraud, obtained D43,000 from one Alagie Ansumana Ceesay on the pretext that his Whiteman friend was selling his two vehicles, one Geleleh and a Benz 190, because he wanted to go back, when he knew or have reason to believe the said representation was false or not true.
The case was adjourned till 17 September 2014.
