Alleged burglar arraigned

A man was recently arraigned before Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with breaking into a building with intent to commit a felony.

Omar Manneh denied the charge and was granted court bail of D10,000, with a Gambian surety.

The alleged offence revealed that on 5 July 2011, at Serrekunda, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Omar Manneh, broke and entered into the house of one Alieu Mboge with intent to commit  felony therein to wit stealing.

The case was then adjourned till 21 July 2011.
