The head coach of the Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one league strugglers Africell, Ousman Janneh, said his team’s first priority is to remain in the top-flight next season but not to battle for the league title.
Coach Janneh said his team is a team of young players who lack experience and therefore were unable to contain Brikama United players. “That was why we lost the game,” he said.
“Our heavy defeat to current league leaders Brikama United came as a result of lack of concentration from the players but I am confident that the team will bounce back to their winning form, as the league games progress, and stay in top flight football next season.”
According to coach Janneh, they are working ahead of their week six fixtures against Wallidan on Sunday.
