Reliance Financial Service Donates Football Jerseys to N.B.R

One of the nations prominent business outfits, Reliance Financial Services, has come to the aid of the North Bank Region by donating a set of football Jerseys for the National Youth Conference and Festival currently in session in Farafenni.

This timely gesture was made on Tuesday December 16, 2008 .

Speaking to our reporter, the North Bank Region sport co-ordinator, Mr. Babun Fatty, expressed appreciation for the kind gesture noting that it has come at a time when they need it most. He pointed out that this will pave the way for N.B.R. to perform well in the field of sport especially in football in which they are defending champions.

Mr. Fatty seized the opportunity to commend all those who contributed to making this years Nayconf a reality.

For his part, Mr. Yayah Faal the head of the sports committee said that he is of the belief that N.B.R. will win many of the trophies since they have prepared well for the events.

Moreover, Mr. Faal adduced that N.B.R. will repeat their 2006 victory of Nayconf in Brikama where they were crowned champions in football. Mr. Faal called on all the people to come out in their large numbers and support their team.

Ms Fatou Mboge a conference delegate, cited the importance of bringing people together for a common goal. She added that, the forum would create an opportunity for youths to discuss and reflect on issues affecting young people so that recommendations and solutions can be drawn up to address these problems.
