The Governor of U.R.R. Alh. Omar Khan has informed this reporter in an exclusive interview that he is confident that his region will clinch all the trophies as they will participate in all the events to be staged in this years Nayconf.

Governor Khan noted that his region's athletes have been training for about two months ahead of the event. "With their every day training schedule I am sure it will not be a waste of energy for our athletes," he said.

Governor Khan said his region has brought 150 participants, both male and female, to compete in this year's Nayconf. He added that, he is sure U.R.R. will make history at this year's event.

Governor Khan explained that his region will also prepare themselves at Nayconf for the Sub-regional programme called SAFRA to be held in Mauritania just after Nayconf.

Governor Khan finally advised the youth to maintain discipline, remain united and to contribute their part to the socio-economic development of the country.
