Brikama, Wednesday defeated Foni 3-0 in the group B match, played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to maintain their hundred percent record in the ongoing Africell-sponsored super nawettan competition.

The Sateyba boys, who secured a slender 2-1, win over Jarra and Kiang United (JAKU) required maximum points to fancy their chances of reaching the quarterfinal following their unimpressed performance against the Lower River Regions boys in their opening match, played last Sunday.

Youngster Lamin Badjie alias L.boy and tallish man Papis Nyassi were on the score sheet for Sateyba boys in the match.

Brikama are still leading group B with 6 points in two games and Foni with 1 point in one match.

Meanwhile, Manjai maintained their hundred percent record in the annual football championship following their hard-fought 2-1 victory over Sukuta at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on Wednesday.

Manjai are currently topping group C with 6 points after winning their two opening matches.

Sukuta are second place from bottom in group C with zero point after losing to Manjai in their opening group fixture.

They now need to win their remaining group matches to snatch qualifying to the quarterfinal after losing their opening group game.
