Three FIFA officials arrive in Banjul today

Three top officials from the world's football governing body FIFA, namely Mr. Urs Kluser from France, Cyille Loisel also a French and the Ivorian Sampon Kablan todayarrived in the country from the FIFA's main headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland as a special guest of the Gambia Football Association for a three-day visit.

The President of the GFA Seedy M.B. Kinteh, who confirmed the arrival of FIFA trio, said the visit is meant to avail the three officials the opportunity to visit GFA projects, such as the new GFA office in Kanifing, the artificial stuff in Brikama, as well as the National Technical Training Centre in Yundum.

The trio, GFA supremo added, will also pay a courtesy call on the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Gambia Football Association's boss before leaving finally for Switzerland on Sunday to wrap-up a three-day visit.

This, according to Seedy, is expected to be followed by the much-anticipated visit of the President of FIFA Joseph Sept Blatter, who is due in Banjul soonest.
