Suspect Referred to Campama

One Saiku Samateh was on Tuesday 2nd December 2008 arraigned before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates' Court on a charge of wilful damaged to property contrary to section 312 of the criminal code cap to vol. III laws of The Gambia.

According to the statement of the offence on or about the 28th November 2008 at Brikama Western Region, the accused wilfully and unlawfully threw rocks at the windows of the Brikama Area Council, thereby causing damages to the property.

When the charge was read to him he pleaded guilty.

According to Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh the accused person should be taken to Campama until the next adjourned date because he was considered a mental victim.
