One Sutura Jallow of Sanyang village on Thursday testified at the Brikama Magistrates' Court in the ongoing trial of one Bamba Bah who has been charged with cattle theft.

In his testimony before the court, Mr Jallow stated that it was between June and July this year while he was at his home that he had a call from the police station. He went to the Brikama Station and met the accused Bamba Bah, adding that he later went with the police together with the accused to his place. Upon their arrival, he heard them informing him that there were two heads of cattle, one belonging to oneBintu Konteh and another belonging to the Sanneh Kunda family.

Further testifying Mr Jallow told the court that the accused told them that the cattle were stolen by Kemo S. Jawo, Assan Kah, Tijan Jallow, Yohu Jallow and Jibbi Bah. He said later those people were arrested and brought to the police station. At the police station he added Jibbi told them that the accused person sold one cattle to him and sold another one to Biggech Sowe and Die-Kah who were also arrested and brought to the police station.
