Mahu Saine, Abdoulie Manneh and Malick Jallow were on the 2oth April, 2009 brought before acting Principal Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court charged with three counts of conspiracy and stealing, a charge they denied.
According to the particulars of offence on count one, on
Count two stated that the accused on the same day and place jointly broke into the Sport Shop, owned by one Alhaji Alieu Jallow, with intent to commit a felony namely stealing.
It was stated on count three that the accused on the same day and place jointly stole some sport materials valued at D535, 025.
The accused persons were granted bail on the deposition of D300, 000 or the provision of two Gambian sureties with a landed property amounting to that value.
