Retired
diplomat, Dembo M. Badjie extends his congratulations to the entire leadership
of the United Arab Emirates for building a sustainable future for the Union and
her people on the occasion of their country’s 48th National day, which was held
on 2nd December, 2019.
Mr.
Badjie said whenever he visits Dubai and sees massive and impressive transformation
of the country under the dynamic and visionary leadership of His Highness
Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktaum, vice president, prime minister and ruler of
Dubai; “I cry for Africa where standards of progress leaves much be desired.”
“Development
is not measured by the happiness of the few but by the prosperity of a Nation
and the people,” he said.
“The
spirit of the Union that runs through the people of the UAE, has turned making
achievements into a way of life and made progress a part of UAE’s dream for
sustainable development.”
