As part of their preparations for the 2009, the Gambia Volleyball Association (GVBA) national league champions and the first-ever beach volleyball tournament, slated for November 2009, the Gambia Volleyball Association is calling all interested volleyball teams to register for the championships with immediate effect.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Pointsport on Monday 28th September, 2009, the President of the Gambia Volleyball Association, Mr. Musa Cassa Taal, said this year's GVBA national volleyball would be staged in prestigious style.
He revealed that registration fees for the national league is D500.00 per team, while that of the first-ever beach volleyball tournament is D150.00 per team.
He further revealed that any team who wants to compete for both championships can pay directly to the Treasurer, Alagie Ceesay.
According to him, the national league was deferred due to the raining season. He expressed optimism that his association is expecting a spectacular and thrilling volleyball tournament.
