Gunjur Utd to brawl with G/Tomorrow in WC regional 3rd division final

Gunjur United are set to clash with Greater Tomorrow in the 2016-2017 West Coast Regional third division league final set for Sunday 21 May 2017, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium after finishing top spots in their respective groups.

The Gunjur-based outfit finished top spot in group A following their goalless draw away to Tujereng United in the all-Kombo South fixtures played at the Tujereng Football Field on Sunday despite Jambanjelly United’s 1-0 win over Sanyang United in the other Kombo south derby fixtures played at the Jambanjelly Football Field the same day.

The Gunjur-based outfit, who finished top spot, are also unbeaten in the league campaign.

The Brikama-based outfit Greater Tomorrow finished top spot in group B following their stunning performance in the league campaign.

Gunjur United and Greater Tomorrow are both unbeaten in the 2016-2017 West Coast Regional third division league.

The winner between Gunjur United and Greater Tomorrow in the 2016-2017 West Coast Regional third division league final will get automatic promotion to the Gambia Football Federation second division league next season.

The loser between Gunjur United and Greater Tomorrow in the 2016 -2017 West Coast Regional third division league final will go for play-off against teams from Banjul and Kanifing Municipality respectively.
