A man called Lamin Susso was
Thursday arraigned before Magistrate Tabally of the Kanifing Magistrates’
Court, charged with possession of prohibited drug.
According to the charge sheet read in court, the accused, Lamin Susso, on 12 February 2013, at Sukuta Nema, in the West Coast Region, had in his possession 849gram of cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug.
The accused denied the charge and was granted court bail of D300,000 with two Gambian sureties who must deposit their ID cards.
Hearing was adjourned till 8 June 2013.
