Reports monitored on the GRTS last evening revealed that President Jammeh has demoted the Deputy Chief of Defence Staff, Brigadier-General Yankuba Drammeh to Private and dismissed him from the Gambia Army Forces (GAF) with effect from yesterday 30 November 2009.
In the same vein, President Jammeh has appointed Brigadier-General Ousman Badjie, the Army Commander as new Deputy Chief of Defence Staff with immediate effect.
