The Kanifing Magistrates' Court recently heard a criminal case of going arm in public brought against one Bilali Sey.
According to the particulars of offence, on 4th January 2010 at around 2:30 to 3:00 am at London Corner in the Kanifing Municipality with intent to intimidate or cause terror to the public, the accused Bilali Sey had in his possession a cutlass.
According to the facts as narrated by the Police Prosecutor, on that fateful day while the security task force were on patrol around London Corner they came across the accused whom they confronted and later conducted a search on him during which they found a cutlass in his possession.
He said he was subsequently arrested and taken to Serekunda Police Station where he was cautioned and charged with the offence committed.
