Sport Journalists Meet Medical Today in Stakeholders Tourney

The Sports Journalists will take on a team composed of football Medics in the opening of the first edition of the  stakeholders football tournament initiated by The Gambia Football Coaches Association.

The game, which is expected to kick-off later today  at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, is one of the most awaited games in the tournament.

The eight-team tournament, sponsored by Seedy MB Kinteh President of The Gambia Football Association and 1st Vice President Major General Lang Tombong Tamba, is geared towards cementing and ensuring a smooth relationship among participating teams.

According to President of The Gambia Sports Journalists Association, all Sport Journalists wishing to take part in the tournament should report at the Independence Stadium by 3pm this afternoon.

The Sports Journalists team composed of Star players  Besenty Gomez, Namory Trawally, Bakary Manneh alias Big Sam and Dodou Bojang among others. Journalists /Coach Fatou Mbye will take part in the game and they look poised for a bright start to their campaign today.

A giant trophy and a bull await the winner of the tournament and the runners-up will walk away with two sheep.
