Muhammad Yahya Jammeh Super Nawetaan Competition Commences on Saturday

The forthcoming Mahammad  Yahya Jammeh  Super  Nawetaan  draw was made last Sunday at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

The draw was attended by representatives of all the Nawetaan zones,  referees and GFA officials  among others.

Speaking to reporters shortly after draw, The Gambia Football Association president, SeedyMB Kinteh, commended President Jammeh  for sponsoring the super Nawetaan, noting that when they made a request to name the tournament after Muhammad Yahya Jammeh the president agreed  to sponsor  the zonal competition.

Mr. Kinteh pointed out that the competition will be an annual event.

The groupings of the competition are as follows. Group A: Bakau, Gunjur, Sukuta and Serekunda West. Group B: Banjul, Lamin, Brikama, and Serekunda East.

The matches will play in the various Nawetaan Zones.
