Young Gamcel F.C are through to the semi finals of the ongoing Fatoumata Jahumpa Ceesay's perpetual football tournament following their resounding 4-1 win over KayoungKarlon FC in post match penalty shoot out. The game was the first quarter final and was played last Saturday 25th April, 2009, at Gunjur Football Field.

In the other quarter final, played on Sunday 26th April, Gamstar FC advanced to the semis when they beat World 11 FC 7-6 on spot kick in the second quarter final clash after the normal time of play ended 1-1.

Meanwhile, Kulukochi United FC will clash with Manchester United FC in the third quarter final game to be played on Saturday 2nd May 2009 at Gunjur Football Pitch at 5pm.

Despite their 7-6 defeat at the hands of Gamstar FC in the second quarter final on penalties, World 11 FC could still qualify as best losers to the semis, depending on the results from Manchester and Kulukochi United game.
