Upper Niumi District Tourney Kicks off Saturday

The 2009 Upper Nuimi District Noran football tournament organised by Upper Nuimi Youth and Sports committee and sponsored by Hon Mam Cherno Jallow, National Assembly member for Upper Nuimi District, for the way forward of football in the district, will kick off this Saturday 14 March, 2009 at Kabakoto football Field.

Twenty teams are expected to take part in the championship, and teams have been drawn into four groups.

Group A includes Jurunku , Kabakoto, Sotokoi and Kerr Sidiki.                                                 

Kerr Cherno, Kerr Mama, Fass Omar Saho and Sami team up Group B.

Group C members are Pakau Njogu, Pakau Saloum, Kerr Chebbo and Albreda.                  

The fourth group comprise of Lamin, Bakolong, Sita Nunkuand Nbantankiling Mamuda, Bakalarr, Ma Demba Kunda and Medina Sidia, form members of group E.
