Fallou Ngum and teammate Famara Jobe have been linked with a three-week trial with Al-Mahyahasa, a second division club in Qatar, Pointsport can confirm.

The two Gambian starlets, who both ply their trade with Magadan in the Bakau Nawetan, are set for the Qatari trial in less than two months’ time.

Scheduled to depart Banjul in mid-March, Ngum 16 and rocky centre back Jobe have both been key performers for Magadan as evident in their fantastic display that have seen the club advance to the double finals this campaign.

The duo are reported to have been linked with the Qatar trial thanks to the connection of the club, sources close to the Bakau outfit have reliably informed Pointsport in an interview with this reporter at the weekend.

Jobe and his comrade Fallou, whose football career took him to few other clubs including the GFA division one league club - Africell Saint Matty and Gifts Academy, expressed delight to be associated with their first international trial.

“I am extremely elated about the development and I will endeavour to perform to the best of my ability in order to convince the club for a possible contract signing,” said Ngum, whose outstanding performance has earned him a call-up to the Gambia National U-17 team, where he underwent a trial few years ago but failed in his attempt to secure a place with the team.
