Student Testifies in Theft Case

Ebou Njie, a student, was the latest prosecution witness to testify in the trial of one Abdoulie Mboge who is charged with assault and stealing.

Testifying, PW3, Ebou Njie told the court that on the day in question the accused stabbed the complainant with a broken bottle. He stated further that when the two were separated, the complainant reported the matter to his brother.

It would be recalled that on count one, on 8th July 2008 at Pipeline Road, the accused assaulted one Dodou Jobe by stabbing him all over his body.

On count II, at the same place and date, the accused stole from the complainant one silver chain valued D3,820 being the property of Dodou Jobe.

The case was adjourned to 4th February 2009.
