A Tabokoto resident, Alieu Sambou recently appeared before Principal Magistrate Emanuel Amadi of the Brikama Magistrates' Court, charged with dangerous driving.
According to the particulars of offence on count two, on 2nd May 2009, along Tabokoto Brikama Highway, the accused drove a motor vehicle with a registration number BJL 4769 Toyota van in a dangerous manner.
Count two, revealed that the accused on the same date, month and year, along the Tabokoto Brikama Highway, drove a motor vehicle with a registration number BJL 4769 Toyota van when the breaking system were not functioning.
While on count three, the particulars of the offence read that, on 2nd May 2009, along Tabokoto Brikama High Way, he drove a motor vehicle with a registration number BJL 4769 without a valid licence.
Meanwhile, the accused pleaded not guilty to all the counts.
He was granted court bail in the sum of D10, 000 with two Gambian sureties with two passports.
