As the admission for the grade seven students get underway at the various Upper Basic Schools across the country, Mai Darboe, a grade six student at Gunjur Lower Basic School, who is expected to continue her education to Upper Basic School next academic year is seeking financial support from the government, philanthropists, donors, NGOs, private sector, companies and individuals to come to her aid.
Speaking to this reporter, Mai Darboe said she really wants to further her education to the Upper Basic School, but her educational career is hampered by serious financial constraints.
"This is why I am still unable to go for admission at the Upper Basic School, she said, while appealing to the government, private sector, NGOs, philanthropists, donors, companies and individuals to support her.
