Essa Sambou, head coach of the current Gambia Football Association division one league leaders Brikama United, said his target is to clinch the Gambia Football Association division one league title this season.
Coach Sambou was speaking to reporters after his side’s 2-1 win over Samger in the week nine fixtures played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda at the weekend.
He said: “My boys are committed, determined and ready to fight for the league title and our ultimate objective is to win the GFA top accolade this season.”
Sambou expressed optimism that his team can realize their dream of clinching their first ever league title at the end of the campaign and has vowed to put up a strong fight when his in-form side meet Gamtel on Sunday.
