Steve Biko to host Hawks in GFA Premier League tomorrow

Bakau giant Steve Biko will meet Hawks in the Week Two of the ongoing Gambia Football Association (GFA) Division One League tomorrow Saturday 16th January 2010, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.  

Steve Biko have already bagged all three points after thrashing City boys, Real de Banjul 2-0 in the opening match of the league campaign last weekend, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.

Hawks first game against Bakau United was cancelled, due to the demise of Sang's brother and will do all efforts to make sure they beat Steve Biko in order to stand a better chance in the league.

Samger will lock horns with Wallidan at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium, Samger lost to the newly promoted side GPA 2-1 in the opening day of the league and will be hoping to bounce back and stand a better position to fight for the league title.

Elsewhere, Bakau United will entertain the newly promoted side Interior at the Serrekunda Mini-stadium.

Interior who drew 0-0 with Western Region giant Brikama United in their opening game will be hoping to bounce and stand a better position in the league standing.

On Sunday games Seaview will face Real de Banjul at the Box Bar Mini-stadium in Brikama, Seaview drew 0-0 with Wallidan in their opening game last week and will try everything possible to collect all three, while Real de Banjul will be hoping to bounce back after 2-0 thumping in the hands of Bakau giant Steve Biko in their opening game last weekend.   

The defending champions Armed Forces will clash with Brikama United at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda. Armed Forces who are preparing for the 2010 CAF champions league game against Algerian champions JS Kabily will be hoping to bounce back after their 1-1drew with telecommunication boys, Gamtel last weekend, Brikama United will also be hoping for victory in order to keep their title hope alive.

Elsewhere the telecommunication boys, Gamtel will battle it out with the newly promoted side GPA at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium, Gamtel drew 1-1 with the defending champions Armed Forces in the opening game last weekend will do everything possible to bag all three to improve position in the standings.

GPA will be hoping for victory in order to rejuvenate their winning and also maintain their unbeaten run to two games.
