Sanchaba Youth Charged With Stealing

The Bundung Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara on Friday 20th March 2009 heard a criminal case of house breaking and stealing brought against one Karamba Gassama.

According to the facts read in a hushed courtroom by the prosecutor as stated in count one: the accused Karamba Gassama on the 16th September, 2008, at Sanchaba Sulay Jobe, broke into the house of one Behai Camara with intent to committ a felony to with stealing.

While in count two, the alleged offence read that the accused Karamba Gassama on the same day and place stole from Behai Camara the following, one bag of cement valued at D250, wash-hand basin, valued at D2500, two flush toilet pieces, valued at D3500, one cement mixer, valued at D650, one measuring tape, valued at D300 all totalling to D8950.00.

When the charged sheet was read and interpreted in the languages the accused person claim to understand he pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him.

The case was adjourned to April 4th, 2009.
